Commercial Litigation

David serves as the Chair of the firm's Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group.  David has years of experience litigating business cases, including shareholder and partnership disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, securities fraud actions, and “bet the company” litigation.  He practices in federal and state courts in Connecticut and handles FINRA and AAA arbitrations.  David frequently serves as lead and local counsel on complex litigation matters, including some of the largest cases in the State.

Energy-Related Litigation

David litigates before state agencies including the Connecticut Siting Council, where he has served as lead counsel representing Connecticut municipalities in connection with numerous controversial applications by Eversource to construct high-powered transmission lines.  Through his years of experience handling these disputes, David is adept at delving into the complexities of power line engineering, and fighting for the rights of Connecticut’s towns and cities.  David also appears before the Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority on energy-related matters.
