Tatiana F. DaSilva Recognized as a "New Leader in the Law" by the Connecticut Law Tribune
BRIDGEPORT, CT – Cohen and Wolf, P.C. is pleased to announce that Tatiana F. DaSilva has been recognized by the Connecticut Law Tribune as a “New Leader in the Law”.
Tatiana was selected in recognition of her outstanding legal work, service to the bar, and service to her community. Award recipients will be honored at the Connecticut Legal Awards Dinner held to be held at the Aqua Turf Club in Southington on May 11, 2022.
Tatiana is a member of the firm’s Trusts & Estates, Elder Law, and Tax Groups. Tatiana represents individual clients looking to develop and implement estate plans that preserve and transmit assets while meeting personal and family goals. In addition to her experience in estate planning and estate administration, Tatiana assists her clients in navigating elder law issues, such as conservatorships, supplemental needs trusts, and Medicaid applications.
Tatiana is a member of Plan of Connecticut, a Connecticut-based organization that administers special needs trusts. Tatiana is also a member of the Estates & Probate and Elder Law Sections of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Elder Law Section of the Fairfield County Bar Association, the Portuguese Bar Association, and the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Active in her community, Tatiana serves on the Board of Governors of the Westover School, the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Arts Alliance, the Board of Directors of the Brass City Ballet, and the Rising Professional Advisors Council of the Fairfield County Community Foundation.
Tatiana received her M.A. and H.B.A. degrees, with high distinction, from University of Toronto, and her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law, summa cum laude.
