Cohen and Wolf Recognized for “Deal of the Year” Awarded by M&A Advisor

Congratulations to Cohen and Wolf, P.C. and Principals Matthew C. Susman and David M. Morosan on being recognized for their incredible achievements on a “Deal of the Year” awarded during the 21^st Annual M&A Advisor Awards on Nov. 15, 2022. Cohen and Wolf was honored to be part of the win for the Corporate/Strategic Deal of the Year (with sales between $100MM - $250MM) for the Acquisition of Wheels of CT by Global Partners.

Cohen and Wolf attorneys Susman and Morosan were lead counsel to Consumers Petroleum, Wheels of CT, Inc., and their affiliates with respect to the $151 million sale of all assets and real properties owned by Consumers to Global Partners LP, a publicly traded master limited partnership. The transaction, which closed following FTC approval under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Act, involved the sale of 26 “Wheels” branded owned and leased convenience stores located throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties, the sale of all operating assets relating to Consumer’s fuel and retail convenience stores, as well as the sale of Consumer’s fuel supply and wholesale distributor businesses in Connecticut and New York.
