Overview

Annmarie recognizes that every family situation is unique.  She is compassionate in her approach and offers guidance through complex, often emotional, legal family issues.  Annmarie practices in the area of family law representing parties and children in divorce, legal separation, custody and post-judgment dissolution matters. Her legal experience includes both bench and jury cases in family and civil litigation matters, as well as arguing before the Connecticut Appellate Court.  She serves as a court appointed Guardian ad Litem and Attorney for Minor Children, and has represented parents and their children in special education matters.  Annmarie also acts as a co-parenting coordinator and mediator in family matters and handles guardianship issues in probate court.

Annmarie’s interest in families goes beyond her legal skills in the courtroom as evidenced by her professional development, academic and volunteer activities.  As a faculty member of the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, Annmarie teaches family court trial skills to lawyers throughout the country. In 2019, Annmarie completed a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fairfield University where she received the Dean’s Award for Excellence.
