Cohen and Wolf, P.C. Welcomes Two New Associates - Joshua Pedreira and Brittany M. Rehmer

Cohen and Wolf, P.C., a full-service law firm with four offices in Fairfield and New Haven counties, is pleased to announce that Joshua Pedreira and Brittany M. Rehmer have joined the firm. Mr. Pedreira is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Municipal groups and will be resident in both the Bridgeport and Orange offices. Ms. Rehmer is an associate in the firm’s Litigation and Family Law groups and will be resident in the firm’s Bridgeport office.

Prior to joining Cohen and Wolf, P.C., Mr. Pedreira’s practice focused primarily on the representation of banks and other lending institutions of all sizes in matters arising from default. Mr. Pedreira has broad experience with foreclosure law, as well as debt collection practices on both the state and federal level.

Mr. Pedreira received his law degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2010 where he was a member of the Criminal Law Society and the Constitutional Law Society. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut in 2006.  Mr. Pedreira is admitted to practice in Connecticut. He is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Greater Bridgeport Bar Association and the Portuguese Bar Association.

Ms. Rehmer joins Cohen and Wolf, P.C. after having participated in the firm’s summer associate program in 2014. Ms. Rehmer received her law degree, with honors, from the University of Connecticut School of Law in 2015. During law school, she served as the Executive Director of the Connecticut Moot Court Board, Articles Editor for the Connecticut Journal of International Law and on the executive board of the Women Law Students’ Association. Ms. Rehmer also worked as a law clerk for the United States Attorney’s Office and interned with the Special Litigation Unit of the Office of the Attorney General in Hartford. She earned her undergraduate degree, summa cum laude, from Boston University, in 2011. Ms. Rehmer is admitted to practice in Connecticut and she is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
