Cohen and Wolf, P.C. Takes Steps Toward Saving Lives at Greater New Haven Heart Walk
Cohen and Wolf, P.C. is proud to have played an active part in the American Heart Association’s 2024 Greater New Haven Heart Walk held at Lighthouse Point Park. On Sunday, May 5th, a group of Cohen and Wolf employees, friends, and family spent the day advocating for heart health and stroke awareness by taking literal steps toward helping to fund life-saving science. Out of more than a dozen walking teams, Cohen and Wolf placed in the top 5 categories for Company Fundraisers, Top 5 Teams, and Top 5 Walkers with Attorney Stuart Katz taking 4th place out of 583 walkers.
When asked about the importance of Cohen and Wolf being an active participant in this event, attorney Katz remarked, “As a survivor of a heart attack and cardiac arrest, I know first-hand the importance of recognizing the warning signs of a heart attack and educating people about CPR. Participating in the Heart Walk was a great way to build awareness.”
Earlier in the year, Cohen and Wolf demonstrated additional efforts to bring awareness to cardiovascular disease by participating in National Wear Red Day in February, and by hosting Chelsea Reis from the American Heart Association, who lead the Firm in a discussion about heart health awareness.
