On May 16, 2024, Attorney David Dobin presented a framework to help protect business owners during his webinar “Legal Landmines: Hidden Perils of Business Ownership−a Litigator’s Perspective” sponsored by Score Mentors Greater Hartford. David uncovered potential perils so that owners can take steps to protect and improve their businesses.

During the webinar, David shed light on important perils to be aware of that could impact legal relationships (with customers and the government), and also highlighted the importance of insurance, written contracts, securing property rights, separating business and personal finances, and understanding the regulatory environment.

As business litigator for over 15 years, David brings a wealth of experience and a client-focused philosophy to every case. Specializing in complex litigation and trial practice across state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies, David's expertise spans breach of contract, business torts, fiduciary duties, mechanic’s liens, securities, foreclosures, and evictions. He is inspired to do webinars because of innovative and courageous entrepreneurs who put their own assets and personal lives at risk to make the world a better place.
