Recognizing and Responding to Microaggressions

As part of the firm’s commitment to ongoing training and education, the firm hosted Mandy Levine for a remote workshop titled, Recognizing and Responding to Microaggressions.  In this workshop, Mandy gave us an understanding of what a microaggression is and helped us formulate effective responses when we are the target of one. 

Mandy also discussed the importance of understanding the impact our words and actions have on others, despite often having good intentions. 

Mandy Levine is a diversity, equity, and inclusion consultant and practitioner based out of Portland, ME.  Formerly a practicing attorney, Mandy specializes in facilitating DEI trainings and conducting workplace investigations.
