Cohen and Wolf hosts Dr. Insiya Hussain on the topic of Allyship in the Workplace

On Thursday, August 31, Cohen and Wolf hosted Dr. Insiya Hussain for a virtual Lunch & Learn session on the topic of Allyship in the Workplace.

Dr. Hussain’s presentation touched on what allyship is, why it’s important, and how we can be effective in our efforts to show up as allies for marginalized groups.  We learned there are many ways to be an ally, both being in the spotlight and quietly supporting others.   Dr. Hussain also discussed being an “Imperfect Ally”, noting that we all should be willing to ask questions, embrace feedback, and not be deterred by mistakes.
