Cohen and Wolf Welcomes 2023 Summer Associates
BRIDGEPORT, CT (June 1, 2023) – Cohen and Wolf is pleased to welcome Roman T. Fillyaw, Minahil M. Mian, and Sarah Munro to our 2023 Summer Associate Program. Cohen and Wolf’s highly selective and competitive Summer Associate Program provides an opportunity for law school students to work in a fast-paced law firm environment where they can gain practical legal skills and exposure to private practice.
Mr. Fillyaw is currently a law student at Boston College Law School, where he received a Merit Scholarship. While in law school, Mr. Fillyaw serves as a Student Ambassador, speaking on law school panels and serving as a mentor to incoming law students. This semester, he practiced as a Student-Attorney in Boston College Law School’s Family Justice Litigation Clinic, while also working as a Teaching Assistant in the BC Law’s Critical Perspectives: Law, Context, and Professional Identity. In 2020, Mr. Fillyaw interned as a Legal Assistant at the Connecticut State Attorney’s Office. Mr. Fillyaw graduated from Pace University in 2021 with a B.S. in Criminal Justice and a Minor in Psychology.
Ms. Mian is currently a law student at Northeastern University School of Law. She is a Senior Editor of the Northeastern University Law Review and previously served on the Submissions Review Committee. She is also on the board of the Middle Eastern and South Asian Students’ Association, serving as Treasurer. She graduated with a degree in Political Economics from U.C. Berkeley in 2020. Most recently, Ms. Mian worked as a Legal Intern at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office within the Consumer Protection Division.
Ms. Munro is currently a law student at Northeastern University School of Law, where she participated in the Lawyering Fellowship program. In 2022, Ms. Munro worked as a Legal Clerk at Wolf Popper, LLP in its Securities Department. Prior to law school, she taught elementary education. Ms. Munro received her B.A. in International Social Justice Studies from Virginia Commonwealth University where she graduated two years early and was a member of the French National Honors Society.
