Benchmark Litigation Recognizes Attorneys Philip C. Pires and Alexander Copp

For the fifth consecutive year, Philip Pires has been named to Benchmark Litigation’s “40 & Under List,” recognizing his accomplishments from both inside and outside the courtroom. A principal of Cohen and Wolf’s firm, Attorney Pires practices law in the areas of commercial litigation, municipal law, estate and probate litigation, and land use and zoning.
Active in his community, Attorney Pires serves as Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of Bridgeport’s Downtown Special Services District, a special taxing district serving the city’s downtown area. He has previously served for six years as a member of Fairfield’s Representative Town Meeting (RTM), the legislative body for the Town of Fairfield, including two years as the Moderator of the RTM.

A principal at Cohen and Wolf, Attorney Copp regularly advises individuals, businesses, and municipalities in a wide range of matters, focusing primarily on civil litigation involving land use, landlord-tenant issues, probate litigation, defamation, employment discrimination, and business litigation.
Recently, Attorney Copp was named to the 2022 Fairfield County Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” list for his leadership, commitment, and outstanding accomplishments in the field of law.
